Product Overview
The incubator is an enclosed apparatus used to provide warmth for premature babies or neonates in a controlled and protective environment. The doors containing portholes are designed for routing the oscillator or ventilator tubing are held to the incubator unit while opening or closing by means of hinges. The hinge pin rod is provided as a part of hinge assembly along with a housing, a compression spring and a pin release. It is held by a compression spring and used for locking the door. By pressing the hinge pin release the door can be easily opened. The pin rod is passivated which means that free iron is removed from its surface and a thin oxide coating is formed that protects the surface from corrosion. This improves the corrosion resistance of the pin and durability making it safe to use in varying conditions of moisture and heat in incubator.
